Altar

We recently celebrated by Dad's 70th Birthday.   The time we spent as a family was great and flew by so quickly.  What is crazy is that I learned that the celebration was only a small part of it.  The energy and love that went into the event started months prior as everyone arranged their schedules and booked flights to Austin.   Then as we worked on decorations and poured through old pictures, we honored and loved my dad.  By the time our guests arrived we had put so much energy into preparing for them, that we had created a great nest to enjoy them in.   I create to celebrate.  It feels good.

Honor people. They dig it.   It's pretty.  It's bright.   It makes you feel good to create a place for people to gather and love each other.  Doesn't have to be a big deal.
